Which Sewing Projects Can I Use Denim For?
Denim can be used for a wide range of sewing projects – if you’ve ever struggled to find the perfect fitting jeans perhaps now is the time to make some?! If sewing jeans feels a little bit advanced you could start with a simple denim skirt instead.
In fact you can sew pretty much any garment in denim if you choose a suitable weight – tops, jackets, trousers, jumpsuits, waistcoats and if you need any help choosing the right fabric we are always very happy to help.
If you’re more into crafting or sewing accessories denim can be great for bag making and even home dec projects.
We would always recommend using a jeans needle when sewing with denim and you can find these in our extensive sewing machine needles range. You might also want to buy some top stitch thread to add some classic denim top stitching details to your project and you can find this on our site too.
