Inspired by the simple 1960’s silhouette and designed to stay swingy yet fitted, the 1960’s Coat exudes elegance and style. Team with a pair of skinny jeans or slip it on over a vintage-inspired dress to add the perfect finishing touch to your outfit! The 1960’s Coat is easy-to-wear, versatile number which complements any outfit and is a must-sew for Autumn/Winter.
Stay snug by securing the buttons down the front, and choose to cover yours in matching fabric or make a statement with a contrasting pop of colour. The timeless design offers a sleek ‘60s shape and with a neat pointed collar, slick centre back seam and adjustable length - this one’s a keeper!
For the 1960’s Coat we recommend a medium to heavyweight fabric such as tweed, boucle, melton, jacquard and boiled wool. If you are new to sewing coats we recommend avoiding fabrics with a very loose weave (such as boucle) as these fray easily and can make your sewing more tricky.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
