Aki is the kind of shirt you can mix and match endlessly. Wear it loose for a relaxed look or accentuate your waist with the matching belt – it’s up to you. The simple straight collar and cuffs give it a timeless look, while the pleats and the two-piece front panel add extra character. The generously rounded hem gives Aki a lovely, flowing drape, and the slits in the sleeves add the perfect finishing touch. Finish it off with double topstitching for a subtle utility touch. Aki looks its best in fabrics with sufficient body. Choose, for example, (faux) leather, (faux) suede or denim to really bring out the loose fit and the beautifully rounded hem. Avoid fabrics that are too supple, as these detract from the character of the design and don’t show off the silhouette to its best advantage.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
