The BERNINA 735 PRO is a premium sewing and quilting machine designed especially for dressmakers and sewists who value precision. With its 5.5mm stitch width, generous 10-inch workspace, large 7-inch colour touchscreen and advanced PRO technology, it is particularly well suited to garment construction, fine fabrics and detailed sewing where accuracy really matters.
One of the standout features is the BERNINA Pinpoint Laser, which shows exactly where the needle will enter the fabric in every needle position. This makes accurate topstitching, seam matching and detailed construction much easier, while the automatic needle threader threads the needle at the touch of a button for a quicker, smoother start to every project.
The BERNINA 735 PRO uses stitchprecision² technology for smoother, quieter and more precise sewing. Its 5.5mm maximum stitch width is ideal when working with fine fabrics and intricate details, while the included BERNINA Walking Foot #50 provides additional feed from above for greater control over multiple layers, difficult fabrics and materials that might otherwise shift while sewing.
There is an impressive choice of 1,753 stitch patterns, including utility, decorative and quilting stitches, together with alphabets and automatic buttonholes. Stitches can be customised directly on the machine, with settings saved for future use, while stitch combinations can also be imported and exported via USB.
The large 7-inch colour touchscreen makes navigating the machine straightforward, with clear menus, tutorials and on-screen help. With 10 inches / 254mm of space to the right of the needle and 30 LED lights illuminating the sewing area, there is plenty of room and visibility for larger garments, quilts and more substantial projects.
At the heart of the machine is the BERNINA Hook, capable of sewing at speeds of up to 1,000 stitches per minute. The front-loading Jumbo Bobbin holds up to 70% more thread than a conventional bobbin, helping reduce interruptions when sewing longer seams or larger projects. BERNINA Adaptive Thread Tension, adjustable presser foot pressure and upper and lower thread sensors help maintain beautifully consistent results.
Automatic features include an automatic presser foot lift, automatic thread cutter, programmable needle stop, Start/Stop sewing and speed control. The included BERNINA Free Hand System lets you raise and lower the presser foot using the knee lifter, so both hands can remain on your project while you sew.
The BERNINA 735 PRO is also BSR compatible, allowing you to add the optional BERNINA Stitch Regulator for controlled, consistent free-motion quilting. Please note that the BSR foot is available separately rather than being included with the standard machine.
If you would like to explore machine embroidery in the future, the BERNINA 735 PRO can also be upgraded with the optional Embroidery Module L with Smart Drive Technology. This adds advanced embroidery features including Pinpoint Placement, 4-Point Placement with Morphing, WiFi connectivity and compatibility with the BERNINA Stitchout App.
