The clear manual explains all of the basic functions of the Brother L14S‚ but if you prefer a visual demonstration you can watch the included instructional DVD. Threading the machine is simple thanks to the automatic bobbin winder‚ clearly explained thread paths and top loading bobbin. Once threaded‚ use the stitch selection dial to choose one of the 14 stitch functions:-
When you've finished sewing‚ you can use the reverse sewing lever for back tacking and reinforcing seams. Removing the flat bed attachment enables you to sew cuffs‚ trouser legs and other awkward seams with ease. The flat bed attachment also doubles as a storage container‚ where you will find the accessories including a buttonhole foot‚ button sewing foot and buttonhole foot.
