A stitch selector dial is situated on the side of the machine‚ together with easily accessible stitch length and width dials. With 27 stitches to choose from you will find something to suit every sewing scenario. Stitches 1 – 14 are decorative and utility‚ including blind hem‚ zig-zag‚ decorative satin stitch‚ lightening stitch and elastic stitches.
Stitches numbered 15 – 27 have been designed to both improve the finish on your garments or add a decorative touch. A wide range of neatening stitches are included for both knit and woven fabrics which will give your garment a finish that looks professional. Also included are a selection of quilting and heirloom stitches for decorative effects.
The Brother XR27NT also features a top loading bobbin that's simple to insert and has a transparent cover so that you can check the amount of bobbin thread remaining. Drop the feed dogs and your machine is ready for darning or free motion embroidery. The twin needle facility will make beautiful pin tucks in addition to twin decorative stitches for embellishment and the use of the free arm is excellent for those hard to reach areas such as trouser legs‚ cuffs and armholes.
