The sharp yet snuggly top has raglan seams that are sewn together at the end‚ forming an elbow-length‚ roomy sleeve. The fit of the Cape Cod Capelet is very forgiving‚ so you can make some as gifts even if you don’t know the precise measurements of the recipients. To make it extra luxurious‚ you can even use merino or cashmere sweater knit fabric!
Primary Fabric Use light to medium-weight knit fabric with 25%-100% stretch and good recovery. Sweater knit‚ French terry and jersey are good choices.
Make sure to check the size chart in the image gallery before choosing your size. Every pattern brand uses slightly different measurements‚ so it’s always worth double-checking to ensure you select the correct size for the best possible fit.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don't print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files in all sizes‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
