Carmo Top Itch to Stitch sewing pattern.

Indulge yourself with this unique asymmetrical top. The Carmo has an elegant‚ wide V-neckline that frames your face like an artistic portrait. The distinctive diagonal scarf wraps over one of your shoulders and around the opposite side. To add icing to the cake‚ the long sleeves are finished with long cuffs and the bodice is finished with a bottom band.

Recommended fabrics

Primary Fabric Use light or medium-weight knit fabric with 20-30% horizontal stretch and good recovery (with elastane) such as jersey‚ sweater knit and French terry.

Neck Tape Use very light knit fabric with good recovery such as a very lightweight jersey‚ power mesh and nylon tricot . The neck tape is for finishing the left neckline. It is not supposed to be visible‚ but it may still peek out as you move. Therefore‚ it is best to use a coordinating colour.

Delivered Paper Pattern

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.

Please note that we don't print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files in all sizes‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.

Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.

PDF Digital Download

If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email. We recommend creating an account before placing your order so you can easily access your files again by logging in at any time. The following files are included to print at home:

• PDF for A4/Letter printout. The full pattern spans 39 pages (sizes 00–20) or 53 pages (sizes 16–40)‚ though you'll only need to print the pieces for your size‚ so the final page count may be less.
• PDF for A0/US printout. The full pattern spans 3 pages (sizes 00–20) or 4 pages (sizes 16–40)‚ though you'll only need to print the pieces for your size‚ so the final page count may be less.
• Step by step sewing instructions in PDF format
