Claudie is swingin'‚ and not just a little! Claudie is pure rock 'n 'n roll with a 360° swirl. She features a high waist with a straight waistband‚ invisible zip closure and handy hidden pockets in the side seams! Here at Fibre Mood‚ we went for mid-length‚ but Claudie can easily be made shorter or longer. And there you have it‚ we've come full circle. Time to twirl!
The range of options when making Claudie are nearly endless as long as you pick something with no stretch. Get started with fabric with a fluid drape‚ e.g. viscose (satin) or viscose crepe. Or select something with more structure‚ such as poplin‚ baby rib corduroy‚ suede‚ denim‚ flannel‚ gabardine‚ or tweed. Solids and prints (e.g. floral‚ striped‚ check‚ etc.) both work. Keen to wear an ultra edgy skirt this winter? We’ve got one word for you. Leather! And for a party-ready version of the Claudie‚ lurex is where it's at.
All formats of this pattern include seam allowances.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
