If you want to learn to sew with jersey, this pattern is the perfect introduction. A stylish jersey dress with an interesting cowl neckline, it ticks a lot of our boxes: simple to sew and easy to wear!
The construction is as straightforward as you can get: a front piece, back piece and a sleeve piece. That’s all you need! There are no darts, facings or tricky closures to contend with. You can whip up one of these babies in less than an hour.
Versatility is at the core of this pattern, and as well as a dress there is also a top option. And you can choose between long or short sleeves as the season dictates. You can choose from a variety of jerseys for the Cowl Neck Dress & Top. We recommend heavier jerseys, such as ponte di Roma for the dress version, whereas for the top we recommend lighter weight fabrics, such as a drapey viscose jersey.
