Elan is the perfect jumper for those who love casual comfort with an edgy twist. This loose-fitting‚ cropped sweater has a trendy stand-up collar and deep raglan sleeves for a relaxed fit. The centre front has a button placket with snap fasteners‚ making Elan perfect for wearing open or closed. Functionality is key‚ with a zip patch pocket on the chest and zip pockets at the lower front. The sleeve hems are finished with an elasticated wrist trim that can be folded inwards for a neat look. Choose teddy fabric (sherpa fleece) or plush teddy with a soft‚ thick pile‚ (faux) fur‚ bouclé‚ felt‚ leather‚ chunky knit fabric‚ sweater fabric (brushed or unbrushed). Fibre content Usually polyester for warmth and ease of care. Can be mixed with acrylic or cotton. Weight: Heavy and bulky (approx. 300-450 g/m²) for maximum warmth and comfort. Contrast fabrics: Use sturdy flannel or cotton twill‚ denim‚ canva‚ nylon‚ ripstop… for the collar and pockets to add extra structure.
All formats of this pattern include seam allowances.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
