Evin is the perfect jacket for anyone who loves a bold look with a romantic touch. The stand-up collar, centre front button closure, and flaps on both collar and sleeves give this cropped design a powerful utilitarian look, while the gathers on the front and back - sewn onto a flat piece - provide that soft, feminine contrast. Thanks to the flaps, you can roll up the wide sleeves for a casual look. There is a piped pocket at the front, which you can omit if you wish to simplify the project. An added bonus: Evin is unlined, which reduces the level of difficulty. In short: it’s a statement piece that is surprisingly easy to sew and it will perfectly into your mid-season wardrobe.
You can choose from a wide variety of fabrics for this Evin mid-season jacket. Think of an elegant satin, a light denim or a supple lyocell, though gabardine or a lightweight linen fabric also work very well.
