Frankie Mini Dress Fibre Mood sewing pattern.

Frankie keeps things sleek and well-designed. This tailored mini dress with a boat neck owes its flattering fit to bust and waist darts at the front and back. The button closure at the centre front is partly decorative: you slip it on via an invisible zip in the side seam and only use the top two buttons (fewer buttonholes, more sewing fun!). Frankie’s neckline and armholes are finished with a facing, and the welt pockets on the front give the design a refined finishing touch.
Frankie looks best in a slightly sturdier fabric such as twill cotton, denim, poly-cotton, fine corduroy, linen, or gabardine. Avoid fabrics that are too light or drape too loosely, so that the clean cut and beautiful shape of the silhouette are preserved.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
