If you live in knits, the Heather Dress sewing pattern is for you!
A fitted dress designed for mediumweight knit fabrics, Heather will keep you looking put-together whilst feeling comfy and super cosy throughout the colder months.
The Heather Dress has cleverly constructed in-seam pockets (always a winner!) and a panelled bodice which makes fitting a dream. With opportunities for colour blocking, you can really make Heather your own. Stay subtle in a solid fabric, go jazzy in a print, or go bold and mix the two to make a feature of the design lines. There are three sleeve options to choose from: a short capped sleeve, 3/4 length or full length.
For the Heather Dress sewing pattern we recommend a medium weight knit fabric with a low stretch percentage, such as a ponte di roma, double knit jersey or interlock knits. Stable and substantial, these fabrics don't wriggle around like lightweight jersey and are easy to sew.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
