Sew a cosy dress or jumper with the Holly sewing pattern!
Comfortable, stylish, quick to sew and easy to wear, the Holly Dress & Jumper pattern is a great sewjo booster. Whichever version you make, you'll be constantly reaching for it in autumn and winter.
With a distinctive funnel neckband and raglan bishop sleeves brought in at the wrist with narrow cuffs, Holly features shoulder darts and sizes 18-30 also include bust darts for extra shaping.
To give you a lot of versatility, we've included four different hem lengths: make Holly as a midi or a cute mini dress, or sew a practical Holly Jumper and choose between a hip-length design or a cropped style with a wide waistband.
The dress also includes optional elastic channels on the sides to cinch everything in at the waist for a more defined shape.
Holly is designed for stable knit fabrics, such as Ponte di Roma, double knit jersey or interlock knits, which are easy to work with and will keep you cosy in the colder months!
We recommend a medium weight knit fabric, such as a Ponte di Roma, double knit jersey or interlock knits. Stable and substantial, these fabrics don’t wriggle around like lightweight jersey and are easy to sew.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
