Create neat, decorative pintucks quickly and easily with the HUSQVARNA® VIKING® 3-groove pintuck foot. Ideal for medium weight fabrics, this useful presser foot helps you sew evenly spaced tucks with a professional finish, perfect for adding texture and detail to garments, heirloom sewing, home décor projects and more.

The pintucks are formed as you sew with a twin needle, while the fabric is guided into the grooves on the underside of the foot. Once your first tuck is sewn, it can be placed into one of the outer grooves to help guide the next tuck for a beautifully even result.

How to use

1. Snap on the pintuck foot.
2. Insert and thread a 2.0mm or 2.5mm twin needle.
3. Select a straight stitch and set the stitch length to 2.5.
4. Sew your first pintuck, allowing the fabric to tunnel into the groove on the underside of the foot.
5. Place the sewn tuck into the outside groove of the foot to guide the next tuck.

For heavier fabrics, or to add cord into your pintucks, snap on the raised seam plate. For corded tucks, place the cord or yarn into the guide on the raised seam plate before sewing.

Please note: this foot is not suitable for use with the automatic needle threader.
