The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Elastic Foot for AMBER™ s|100 is designed to guide and stretch narrow elastic as you sew it directly onto your fabric. It is ideal for projects such as activewear, lingerie and other garments with elasticated edges, helping you achieve a neat, even finish with controlled stretch.

The foot is suitable for elastic measuring approximately ¼"–½" (6–12mm) wide. An adjustable tension screw controls how much the elastic is stretched as it passes through the foot, so you can increase or reduce the amount of contraction to suit your project.

To use, loosen the tension screw, feed the elastic through the foot, snap the foot onto the machine and pull the elastic behind the foot. Tighten the screw to the required tension, sew a few stitches to secure the elastic, then stitch the elastic and fabric together. For more stretch, turn the tension screw to the right; for less stretch, turn it to the left.
