An adjustable tension screw controls how much the elastic is stretched as it passes through the foot, so you can increase or reduce the amount of contraction to suit your project.

To use, loosen the tension screw, feed the elastic through the foot, snap the foot onto the machine and pull the elastic behind the foot. Tighten the screw to the required tension, sew a few stitches to secure the elastic, then stitch the elastic and fabric together. For more stretch, turn the tension screw to the right; for less stretch, turn it to the left.

Product details

Guides and stretches elastic as you sew

Suitable for elastic ¼"–½" (6–12mm) wide

Adjustable tension controls the amount of stretch

Ideal for activewear, lingerie and elastic insertion techniques

Helps create neat, evenly gathered elasticated edges

Compatible with HUSQVARNA® VIKING® AMBER™ s|100

HUSQVARNA® VIKING® product code: 413306045
