The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Sensor Q Presser Foot is designed for embroidery, free-motion sewing and quilting, especially when working with thick, spongy or heavily padded fabrics. It helps the machine handle lofty materials more smoothly, making it a useful choice for projects with puffy batting, thick towelling or built-up decorative stitching.

The foot is particularly well suited to free-motion quilting with high-loft batting, as well as free-motion and built-in embroidery on layered fabrics. It can also be useful when there is a build-up of embroidery thread or couched decorative threads, helping keep the fabric controlled as the needle moves through thicker areas.
