The HUSQVARNA® VIKING® Walking Foot (416358301) is designed to help multiple layers of fabric feed evenly through your sewing machine, making it especially useful for quilting, matching plaids and stripes, and sewing fabrics that can be difficult to control.
The walking foot has its own feed dogs, which work together with the machine’s feed dogs to move the top and bottom layers at the same rate. This helps prevent layers from shifting, stretching or creeping out of alignment as you sew.
It is also a useful choice for tricky materials such as leather, suede, vinyl, napped fabrics and slippery fabrics, helping them move more smoothly and evenly under the foot.
