Make some cosy jersey PJs with the Imogen Pyjamas pattern!
The Imogen Pyjamas are designed for knit fabrics to keep you comfortable and snug in the colder months. They’re easy to sew and easy to fit, so you can make Imogen for yourself and as a gift too! Festive PJs anyone?
The bottoms feature an elasticated waistband and narrow cuffs at the hem to stop them from riding up in the night and to keep the warmth in.
The top has full-length sleeves and you can choose between two different styles: version 1 is more fitted and the neckline is finished with a placket and snaps. Version 2 has a looser fit and features a yoke at the front and back - perfect for colour-blocking and using up some jersey scraps from your stash!
You can sew Imogen in a light knit fabric like bamboo/viscose/cotton jersey. We used a pointelle jersey for our pink sample which also worked a treat. The yoked version could also work in something heavier like a French Terry or a Ponte di Roma.

Light to medium weight knit fabrics such as viscose or bamboo jersey or French terry and lightweight cotton jersey. You’ll also need 1” wide elastic in the length of your waist measurement plus 1”. If making version 1, you will also need 3x snap fasteners and a small amount of regular interfacing for the placket.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
