This top may look simple, but it makes a big impact. The pleats are stitched into place, creating a subtle peplum effect: it fits snugly at the top and flares gently towards the hem. It’s incredibly flattering and wonderfully airy on hot summer days. Isola features a round neckline, and both the neckline and armholes are finished with a separate set-in collar for a neat, refined look. You fasten the top with a sew-on snap on the neckband at centre back. Elegant with a playful twist? Sounds like Isola!
The pleats of the Isola top are easy to create in poplin or other firm fabrics, though summer linen, romantic silk or broderie anglaise are also good options.
All formats of this pattern include seam allowances.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
