Jax is perfect for carefree summer days with its loose and breezy fit. This flowing maxi dress with a gathered neckline and dropped waist is given extra movement by the gathers at the dividing seam, creating a supple, flattering silhouette. No fastenings required: you tie Jax closed with a tie through the casing at the neckline. And last but not least: the open back lets the sun kiss your skin, making this dress totally summer-ready.
Jax can be made in both flowing and semi-firm fabrics, depending on the look you are going for. Choose poplin, linen, twill, double gauze, chambray or seersucker for a fresh, summery look with a bit of texture and body. Whichever way you go, Jax remains a breezy maxi dress that will move beautifully with your choice of fabric.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
