Josie is a sleeveless top with side slits that can be tightened at the waist.
Whether you make the Josie top short in a stiff fabric or one with a fluid drape will depend on your body shape and the look you’re going for. Women with a ‘curvy’ body shape ought to retain those soft lines and go for fabric textures that aren’t too bulky or heavy. Fabrics that ‘drape’‚ such as wool‚ silk and viscose blends are the most flattering options. Women with a ‘straight’ body shape should go for stiffer fabrics that retain their shape and create clean‚ straight lines‚ for example a jacquard‚ cotton‚ linen‚ brocade‚ etc.
All formats of this pattern include seam allowances.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
