The Atelier Jupe Louise Jacket is a stylish short jacket with a distinctive panelled design, practical pockets and a fully lined finish. Designed with enough room to wear over a sweater without feeling oversized, Louise is a versatile outerwear piece that works beautifully for both winter and transitional wardrobes.
The jacket features a one-piece collar, making it easier to sew in heavier fabrics, along with a separating zip and front placket. The back has an eye-catching yoke that continues into the back sleeve, while the front echoes the look with its own yoke and shaped side panels incorporating pockets. The sleeves are finished with two small pleats and cuffs, and elastic at the hem creates a gently gathered, snug finish.
Louise is designed for medium to heavyweight fabrics, making it a great choice for wool, wool blends, teddy fabric, corduroy, cotton or quilted fabrics. Denim and medium-weight cotton also work well, giving you plenty of options for creating either a cosy winter jacket or a lighter version for year-round wear.

This is a physical paper sewing pattern, supplied in the original Atelier Jupe retail envelope and posted straight to your door. It includes printed instructions, just as you would expect from a pattern bought in a shop.
Please note that Atelier Jupe pattern sheets are printed on both sides, so the pattern pieces will need to be traced before cutting. If you prefer not to trace your pattern pieces, please order the Printed PDF Pattern format instead.
Choose this option if you would like us to print the pattern sheets for you on our in-house large format A0 printer and post them to your address.
Please note: we do not print the instructions for this option. The sewing instructions will be emailed to you as a PDF, along with the digital pattern files, when we post your printed pattern sheets.
