Sew a sassy knit top with the Lucia Top!
With a fun frill and off-the-shoulder silhouette, Lucia makes adding a touch of glam to your outfit a breeze.
Deliciously simple to sew, Lucia features a front and back bodice, sleeve and frill, and stays in place with an elastic channel around the top of the frill. Pull the frill down to expose your shoulders, perfect for a sunny holiday, or let it rise onto your shoulders for a more everyday look. Pair your Lucia Top with your favourite Ultimate Trousers or a cute pair of shorts. Try her with the Ultimate Pencil Skirt for a seriously sultry look, or with our FREE Ruby Skirt for the perfect holiday outfit!
Easy to modify to suit your style, you can shorten the sleeves for warm days, shorten the hem for a cropped top look, and even lengthen her into a dress. The frill allows you to have fun with colour-blocking too - why not sew the body and sleeves in a classic stripe and add a pop of solid colour with the frill for a touch of French style?
For the Lucia Top we recommend using lightweight knit fabrics with drape, such as lightweight viscose and lightweight cotton jerseys. Knits with a bit of a “slinky” feel work best. Because the frill is cut as a circle, we recommend avoiding stripes and any fabrics with a strong one-way design.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
