Lumen is one of those pieces that effortlessly exudes class. This sleeveless dress with a short, stand-up collar has a slightly fitted cut that flatters your figure whilst remaining wonderfully comfortable. The slit at the centre back allows for extra freedom of movement and adds a subtle finishing touch. Not in the mood for dresses? You can also sew Lumen as a top: just as stylish, just as versatile. Fancy making a statement in tulle or another sheer fabric? An additional set of instructions is available online. A little more challenging to finish neatly, but clearly explained step by step. Statement piece incoming!
Lumen loves supple fabrics that drape well, such as viscose (crêpe), silk, lyocell, seersucker, crêpe, chambray, double gauze... Or go all out and choose tulle.
All formats of this pattern include seam allowances.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
