Magnus Sweater Fibre Mood sewing pattern.
Size XS-S-M-L-XL-XXL-XXXL
See the sizing guide in the image gallery for more sizing information.
Magnus is the sort of garment that effortlessly straddles the line between a sweater and a jacket. How to wear it? That’s up to you! The high, wide, straight collar creates a cosy look, while the raglan sleeves give the whole piece a relaxed feel. The long, 2-way zip runs from the collar right down to the hem and has two sliders so that you can wear it as you please. Zip Magnus right up for extra warmth, leave it slightly open at the top, or play around with an opening at the bottom for a more laid-back look. Comfortable, versatile and all set for cold days.
Warm, wintery fabrics are the ideal choice for Magnus. Think of wool, heavy jogging fabric, fleece or other slightly sturdier knitted fabrics that give the sweater a nice shape. It’s best to choose a fabric that doesn’t stretch too much so that the zip stays in place and doesn’t pucker. This gives Magnus a comfortable, cosy look with plenty of structure.
The Magnus Sweater is available in the following formats (just select the one you want from the drop down menu):
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
Your download link will be sent to you in a separate email shortly after placing your order. We recommend creating an account before placing your order so you can easily access your files again by logging in at any time.
