Mina Shorts Fibre Mood sewing pattern.

Mina looks like a flouncy mini circle skirt, but is actually a light, playful pair of shorts. The elastic waistband with a tie threaded through buttonholes at the centre front ensures comfort and adds a lovely accent to the waist. You can make the tie yourself or opt for a ready-made version for a quick finish. Last but not least: side-seam pockets are always a bonus.
Mina works well with a wide variety of fabrics, depending on the look you are going for. For a light, summery look, you could opt for seersucker, poplin, lyocell, linen, satin, broderie anglaise, crinkle jacquard or double gauze. Chambray, viscose (crepe), muslin or a light linen blend also work perfectly for a soft, flowing feel. In short: anything that is light and moves easily is a good match here.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
