Nittany Top Itch to Stitch sewing pattern.
If you are looking for a lightweight‚ breathable and flattering garment for the summer‚ look no further than the Nittany Top! There is something extra sweet about a pleated neckline‚ and you can choose to add the keyhole for even more interest. An optional sash allows you to cinch the top at the waist‚ but it will look super cute if you skip the sash and wear a belt with it. Alternatively‚ tuck (or half-tuck) the top in your favorite jeans for a casual look!
Primary Fabric Lightweight‚ non-stretch‚ woven fabric with some drape‚ such as viscose/cotton blend‚ viscose/linen blend‚ rayon challis‚ georgette‚ silk‚ satin‚ crepe‚ chambray and batik.
Lining Very light-weight‚ non-stretch‚ woven fabric such as voile and batiste. It can be the same as the primary fabric.
When selecting an Itch to Stitch pattern with cup options‚ the first step is to work out your cup size. To do this‚ measure around your high bust and then around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract the high bust measurement from the full bust measurement and round the difference:
Once you've identified your cup size‚ simply check the size chart in the image gallery. Select your bust size from the correct cup size row‚ then choose your waist and hip measurements as usual.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don't print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files in all sizes‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email. We recommend creating an account before placing your order so you can easily access your files again by logging in at any time. The following files are included to print at home:
