Sew a contemporary wrap dress with the Norah Dress sewing pattern!
The Norah Dress is the latest addition to our collection of wrap dresses. The contemporary design features grown-on sleeves and optional oversized patch pockets that really make a statement.
With no darts, shaping is provided with gathers under the bust. The back bodice and the skirt are also gathered into a flattering wide waistband.
The midi length skirt has a gentle a-line shape and the dress closes with a tie belt that sits over the waistband.
The V-neckline is finished with a neckband and the dress is hemmed with a neat technique that will give you a high end result.
Make a classic Norah Dress in a plain fabric to really show off the design of the pattern, or have fun with a print! Use a linen or a viscose linen for a more structured dress, a viscose or a crepe for a softer silhouette.
Norah is best made in a medium weight woven fabric with drape, such as medium weight crepe, viscose twills, linen, or a linen viscose mix. You can also use viscoses and crepes for a softer silhouette. Interface one waistband if using a viscose.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
