Orio Jacket Itch to Stitch sewing pattern.
The Orio Jacket is a stylish and versatile layer that blends the comfort of a shirt with the practicality of a zipped hoodie and the functionality of a lightweight jacket. Designed for woven fabrics with no stretch‚ the Orio is perfect for transitional weather or throwing on during cool evenings. Its casual yet refined design makes it a wardrobe staple that works well over a T-shirt or light sweater‚ offering just the right amount of coverage without feeling bulky.
Primary Fabric Use a medium-weight woven fabric such as flannel‚ brushed cotton‚ corduroy‚ linen or linen blends‚ lightweight denim‚ chambray‚ or twill. Keep in mind that the wrong side of the fabric will be visible on the inside of the hood‚ so choose your fabric accordingly.
Lining (For Pocket option only) Use very lightweight woven fabric such as quilting cotton‚ voile and batiste.
Interfacing Use lightweight fusible woven or weft insertion interfacing.
When selecting an Itch to Stitch pattern with cup options‚ the first step is to work out your cup size. To do this‚ measure around your high bust and then around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract the high bust measurement from the full bust measurement and round the difference:
Once you've identified your cup size‚ simply check the size chart in the image gallery. Select your bust size from the correct cup size row‚ then choose your waist and hip measurements as usual.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don't print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files in all sizes‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email. We recommend creating an account before placing your order so you can easily access your files again by logging in at any time. The following files are included to print at home:
