Incredibly versatile, the Penny Dress can be sewn in a wide range of woven fabrics. If you’re a beginner we recommend choosing a cotton lawn, seersucker or linen, whilst intermediate stitchers can have fun with drape, with rayon, viscose and lightweight crepes. With minimal interruptions on the bodice and skirt, there’s lots of scope to make a statement with a bold print for a trendy summer look.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
