Following in Twiggy's footsteps: this playful A-line dress is not only wonderfully summery‚ it also looks cheerful and exciting with its sixties vibes. You can lengthen the dress or make it even shorter if you dare… Petula has a concealed zip and princess seams combined with a dart for a beautiful fit. The elegant neck and arm cut has been finished with an all in one facing.
A statement Petula demands a fabric with extra body‚ to make the dress 'stand up' rather than 'fall down'. So choose‚ for example‚ woven jacquard‚ (silicone) poplin‚ taffeta or ottoman. Not such a fan of this voluminous effect? Then go for a supple fabric such as double gauze‚ chambray‚ lyocell or linen.
All formats of this pattern include seam allowances.
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
