The PFAFF creative™ Bobbin Case (L) is designed for creating decorative bobbin work, also known as reverse decorative stitch embroidery. It allows you to use heavier decorative threads and specialty yarns in the bobbin, creating bold, textured effects that appear on the right side of your fabric.

For finer specialty threads, the bobbin case tension can be adjusted so the thread feeds evenly with a slight tension. For heavier yarns and more textured effects, the thread can be guided through the bypass slot instead of the normal bobbin tension path. This gives you the flexibility to experiment with different thread weights and achieve a variety of decorative finishes.

For best results, use regular sewing thread in the needle, choose a suitable needle for your fabric and work with looser-density stitches such as straight stitch, zigzag or decorative stitches. Slower sewing speeds and longer stitch lengths can help produce the most even and attractive bobbin work.
