The PFAFF® creative icon™ 2 Embellishment Attachment lets you add beads, ribbon, cording and yarn directly into embroidery designs, creating highly decorative, dimensional effects at the touch of a button. It opens up a wide range of creative possibilities for garments, quilts, accessories and home décor projects.
The attachment can apply embellishments in all directions, making it possible to create intricate ribbon embroidery, beaded effects, couching and textured yarn work automatically. For best results, PFAFF recommends using ribbons around 3–10mm wide and bead strings around 2mm or 4mm in size, while a wide range of yarns can also be used as long as they pass smoothly through the attachment channel.
The pivot height can be adjusted to suit different ribbon widths, yarns and bead strings, helping the attachment handle a variety of materials smoothly. For the easiest setup, thread the machine before fitting the attachment and make sure there is enough bobbin thread wound before starting your embellishment design.
