The PFAFF® Dynamic Spring Foot for group L is designed for embroidery, free-motion sewing, quilting and other techniques where excellent visibility and precise fabric control are important. Its open design gives you a clear view of the stitching area, making it easier to follow marked lines, stipple or work on detailed free-motion designs.

The spring-action mechanism helps keep the fabric from lifting with the needle as each stitch is formed, helping to produce smoother, more consistent results. In embroidery, the foot moves up and down with the needle to help balance the upper and bobbin threads, while in free-motion sewing you control the stitch length by moving the fabric yourself.

For use, disengage the IDT™ system, fit the foot to the presser foot holder and select Dynamic Spring Foot 6D mode. The feed dogs will lower automatically, allowing you to move the fabric freely in any direction.
