The PFAFF® Elastic Foot for admire™ 1000 is designed to guide and stretch narrow elastic as you sew it directly onto your fabric. It is ideal for activewear, lingerie and other projects where you want to apply elastic neatly and evenly in one step.

An adjustable tension screw lets you control how much the elastic is stretched as it passes through the foot. Simply feed the elastic into the foot, snap it onto the machine and adjust the screw until you achieve the amount of stretch you need for your project.

For best results, sew a few stitches first to secure the elastic, then check the finish and fine-tune the tension if necessary. Turning the screw to the right increases the stretch, while turning it to the left reduces it.
