The PFAFF® Gathering Foot for admire™ 1000 is designed to make gathering fabric quick and easy on your overlocker. It is perfect for creating soft, even gathers in light to medium weight fabrics, making it ideal for ruffles, gathered panels, sleeves and other decorative garment details.

The foot can also gather one layer of fabric while stitching it to a second flat layer at the same time, helping you create neatly joined ruffles and gathered seams in a single step. The amount of fullness can be increased by raising the needle thread tension, increasing the differential feed or using a longer stitch length.
