The PFAFF® Gathering Foot is designed to make gathering fabric quick and easy on compatible PFAFF® overlock and coverlock machines. It is ideal for creating soft, even gathers in lightweight to medium weight fabrics for garments, ruffles and decorative sewing projects.

The foot can also be used to gather one layer of fabric while attaching it to a second flat layer at the same time, helping you create neatly joined ruffles and gathered panels in a single step. The amount of gathering can be adjusted using your machine settings, including stitch length and differential feed.
