The PFAFF® Buttonhole Foot for category L machine is a manual buttonhole foot designed for creating neat, consistent buttonholes, particularly when working on small fabric areas or close to reinforced edges where the larger Sensormatic Buttonhole Foot may not feed as smoothly.

The foot lets you sew the buttonhole manually in four steps, giving you extra control over the process and making it especially useful for cuffs, children’s clothing and other smaller areas. For fabrics that stretch or shift easily, using a lightweight stabiliser can help produce cleaner, more durable buttonholes.

You can also insert a gimp thread for extra strength and definition, while heavier decorative thread used with a topstitch needle can create an attractive finish on fabrics such as linen.
