This Prym Lateral Stiffness Elastic Tape is a strong, stretchy elastic that is ideal for dressmaking, alterations and general sewing projects. Designed to stretch lengthways while remaining stable across the width, it gives support where you need it without becoming too flimsy or distorted as you sew.

It is particularly useful for reinforcing waistbands, trouser seams, jacket seams, necklines and armholes, as well as adding comfortable stretch to skirts, trousers, pyjamas and other garments. The white finish makes it easy to use with lighter fabrics, while the 30mm width offers a good level of support for a wide range of projects.
