PLEASE NOTE : The Pussy Bow Blouse Add-On Pack is not a complete pattern. You will need a copy of the Pussy Bow Blouse pattern in order to make the new versions.
The Pussy Bow Blouse is one of the first patterns we ever released and she’s been going strong ever since. Now it’s time to put a new twist on this Sew Over It classic.
Use this Add-On Pack to add a button placket to the Pussy Bow Blouse, as well as a new front piece that beautifully gathers into a yoke. We’ve also given you an oversized tie for a more dramatic bow, and new instructions on how to create a wider sleeve with an elasticated hem. If you prefer, you can also add the tie and cuffed sleeves from the original pattern to your new yoked button-up.
The Add-On Pack includes the following pattern pieces, plus new instructions on how to adapt the original pattern to create the new versions:
Because of the button placket and yoke, the Add-On Pack is aimed at Intermediate sewists. However, when sewn in a stable fabric like a cotton lawn, we believe it can also be tackled by Confident Beginners.
Light to medium weight woven fabrics with lots of drape, such as rayon, viscose, crepe de chine, sandwashed silk, crepe, or a light cotton lawn.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
