Reynolds Freezer Paper.
One side is paper and the reverse has a light coating of a plastic which melts like wax when ironed on to fabric. Commonly used in Patchwork and Quilting for applique‚ drawing templates for free motion quilting and foundation piecing‚ but also used as an iron-on stabilizer when using the built-in embroidery stitches on your sewing machine and stitching "In the Hoop" machine embroidery.
