This asymmetric skirt is all about a surprising interplay of lines. The slanted hem and front slit add movement and give the design its distinctive silhouette. At the back, the flap adds a subtle trench coat vibe to the design. An invisible zipper ensures a clean finish and keeps all the attention on the unique cut. A skirt that looks different from every angle.
Choose a woven fabric with enough body to showcase the asymmetrical shape and the different layers. Consider cotton, gabardine, twill, denim or a lightweight wool. Checks, stripes or another graphic print work particularly well: the different directions of the pattern pieces emphasise the interplay of lines even more. For a softer look, you can also choose a fabric with a slightly more fluid drape, provided it is not too thin and retains enough structure.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
