Light and airy yet elegant: The Rory Dress summer dress pattern features an A-line‚ flared hem and midi length. Whether festive or casual‚ the A-line dress to sew yourself is a real all-rounder that you can reach for again and again. Our highlight? Definitely the flared sleeves. Sew the A-line summer dress from a light denim or linen fabric‚ for example. The flared‚ flowing skirt falls most beautifully when you also choose a soft‚ flowing fabric.
Light to medium weight‚ flowing fabric without or with little elastane‚ e.g. cotton denim or linen. We use a medium-weight denim fabric for the A line dress Rory made from 100% cotton with a weight of 130g/qm.

Juliana Martejevs sewing patterns use standardised sizing. To find your best fit‚ simply refer to the size chart and compare your chest‚ waist and hip measurements to see which size most closely matches your own.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don't print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files in all sizes‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
If you choose the PDF digital download option‚ a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
