The Ultimate Pencil Skirt is a great wardrobe staple - you can squeeze the pattern onto any 1.3m length of 140cm wide fabric. It’ll be your favourite go-to skirt pattern.
The pattern has four darts and a concealed zip at the centre back. The top of the skirt is finished with an interfaced waist facing, whilst the bottom of the skirt has a kick pleat to make walking just that little bit easier.

We recommend medium to heavy weight woven fabrics for the Ultimate Pencil Skirt. Medium weight wools and tartans work wonderfully, as does stretch cotton or cotton sateen. Anything with a little bit of stretch (around 3%) will make wearing your skirt extra comfortable!

Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
