The Ultimate Wrap Dress the most versatile dress to wear. Based on the famous designer wrap (we can’t quote the name!), it will get you through all the seasons. Whether you’re at work, off for an evening out, or running around the house, the Ultimate Wrap Dress can be dressed up or down to suit the occasion. It’s so wearable, we are sure it will become a staple item in your wardrobe.
Made in knit jersey fabric, the Ultimate Wrap is super comfy, easy to fit and brilliantly practical - and also a great place to start if you want to move on from working with woven fabrics. Its simple design means it’s easy and quick to make - and there’s nothing we like more than a satisfying sew! It even comes with a free maternity sewing pattern hack.
For this pattern it’s knit fabrics all the way - wovens just won’t work here. You’re looking for something medium weight, such as a ponte di Roma, interlock jersey or doubleknit. These are stable knits and relatively easy to sew. If you’re a more experienced sewer, you could try a lighter weight knit such as viscose jersey, but do beware of going too light weight to avoid the dress being see-through!

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
Choose this option if you would like to print the pattern yourself at home or use your own copy shop/A0 printing service.
