Looking for a dress that’s just that little bit different? Umi catches the eye with its V-neck and a striking strip that runs all the way from the hem of the front panel over the shoulder and down to the hem of the back panel. A surprising detail that gives this must-sew piece extra character. Otherwise, Umi keeps it simple, so you can style it any way you like.
Umi allows for a wide range of fabric choices. For a more defined silhouette, choose fabrics with a bit more body, such as denim, twill, poplin, nylon, linen, seersucker, corduroy, neoprene, scuba, leather, double crepe or organza. Prefer a softer look? Then supple fabrics such as viscose (crepe), lyocell or satin are a lovely choice. Crocheted or knitted fabrics give Umi a contemporary twist.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF‚ along with the digital pattern files‚ when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
