Vlieseline H 640 is a soft, medium-weight fusible batting designed to add warmth, volume and structure to a wide range of sewing projects. It is the thickest iron-on batting in the Vlieseline range, making it ideal when you want a beautifully padded finish without the layers shifting as you sew.
Perfect for quilting and topstitching projects, H 640 can also be used for three-dimensional details such as padded bows, borders and other decorative work. It is also a great choice for adding warmth and body to garments such as jackets and coats.
Suitable for use with light to medium-weight fabrics.
Place the coated side of the batting against the wrong side of your fabric.
Cover with a damp cloth and press with an iron for approximately 15 seconds, working section by section. Lift and reposition the iron rather than sliding it across the fabric.
Once fused, leave the pieces lying flat for approximately 30 minutes to cool and allow the bond to stabilise.
